For any of you looking to make your next fight night or game day special even more epic, We have come up with a list of some snacks that can absolutely enhance your experience. #1 Party Mix I mean anything with the word party in it has to be good right ? Considering these mixes consist of your (I mean probably right ?) favourite crunchy foods, such as Cheetos or pretzels. These will definitely get your fight night from the first round to the last. #2 Good Ol' Tortillas If there was ever a go-to food for any major event tortillas are guaranteed to be front and center, probably accompanied by salsa and/or guacamole. The beauty of tortillas is they are cheap to buy or if you want to make your own they are fairly simple to make. #3 Tater tots Tater tots are simply just the perfect snack for anything. Small enough to enjoy multiple, but fluffy enough where you can just stuff your face.Nothing goes better with an MMA or boxing event than these golden pillows of deliciousness. #4 Popcorn This may sound too plain to have just popcorn, but frankly if it is good enough to enjoy while watching movies, why not indulge while watching your next fight. If your feeling fancy why not Pimp up your popcorn with some parmesan cheese. #5 Buffalo Chicken Bites Nothing says "I'm ready to watch the fight" than chicken wings, so instead of having to worry about throwing away the bones, Why not grab some buffalo chicken bites. Essentially all of the meat and flavour with none of the worry about getting rid of the bones or leaving meat on the bone. Buffalo Chicken Bites are an absolute necessity at any fight night just because of the convenience and the overall flavour you get. I hope this helped give you a couple ideas for your next Fight night. All of these are fairly easy to make or find in your local grocery store meaning you get to spend more time watching the fights you love! The practice has created a heated debate among the most passionate of food lover and that is how do you want your ketchup with fries? Drenched all over the fries creating an ocean of ketchup with fries poking out like little icebergs, or do you prefer it on the side in a container of some sort so that you can dip each individual fry ensuring to coat just the area you want to eat targeted to precision. These two ways of enjoying fries with ketchup have both Dippers & Drenchers at war with one another, so the ultimate question is Which One Are You? These are a couple cool and fun ways people are playing with their food. Unlike what your mom said, sometimes it is okay to play with your food. Throughout the course of dessert history, there has long been a debate among brownie purist as to which is the best piece; is it the Edge piece or the Center piece ? This argument has caused some houseware companies to create brownie pans specifically for Edge lovers (which I have to say is pretty amazing). To Be honest, in my opinion there is no right answer because if you truly are a #edgelover you will remain an edge lover or if you are a #centerlover you will remain a person who loves the center piece.
I personally am a center lover when it comes to brownies because in my mind, I feel like I am getting all the key flavours without all the crust. to better explain it is like a pizza where you get all of main toppings without all the doughy crust changing the flavours you love. (I know a little biased right) But Let us know: Are you a #edgelover or a #centerlover By Kevin King
The arrival of butter chicken to mainstream culture is upon us with more people discovering the delicious Indian delicacy each day. This dish has also been widely used by fast food giants as a way to bring a bit of an exotic flavour to everyday dishes, some examples of these dishes being made for the masses include the butter chicken pizza implemented by Pizza Hut or the Butter Chicken Poutine created by Smoke's Poutinerie. The History of Butter Chicken The dish has its roots in Punjabi cuisine. It was developed by an Indian, Kundan Lal Gujral, a Punjabi Hindu restaurateur, who was the founder of Moti Mahal Delux restaurant in Delhi, India. The dish was invented by Gujral at his restaurant in Delhi in 1950's. The dish was deduced by mixing the leftover chicken in a tomato gravy, rich in butter and cream and served as such. How did such a Delicious Dish become so Popular ? The answer to that could be simple, with foodie culture growing to astronomical levels the desire for newer and more exotic tastes allow different cultures to showcase their best dishes and hence the Butter Chicken has gained the fame it deserves. With all that rich delicious creaminess in one bite, who can resist the call of the Butter Chicken. By: Trevor Dewan
Are you an avid traveller looking to blend in with the locals wherever you go ? The Sheridan Eater has got you covered with a breakdown of a few different languages you may come across. This is an easy way to speak the language of CHEERS!! One thing no one seems to talk about when talking about what makes a perfect burger is the BUN!! A properly proportionate and prepared burger bun can be the difference between a mediocre burger and an EPIC burger, because if a bun is properly toasted it adds an additional crunch to your burger that which creates a party of flavour in your mouth. This is definitely not achievable with a non-toasted bun because ultimately you get a wet bun (No one wants that). The Bun is the foundation of a good burger, meaning that if the bun is smaller than the patty you have a weak foundation, which lead to an awkward eating experience. This is something I really hate because it means that the place I get the burger from is too lazy or cheap to contain their burger properly (Yes, I take eating burgers this seriously) and in all honesty why should I have to deal with a burger that is all meat with a small side of bun, it creates a messier situation that really shouldn't be. So to those stores that sell burgers with a larger meat to bun ratio "PLEASE STOP" thats not a burger its a cheap Ground beef sandwich If you want to try a great burger go to the Davis Grill @sheridancollege Any Thoughts ? In a world of different cuisines and flavours being brought to life, the one thing I have wondered "is it weird to dip fries in a milkshake/ice cream". This question has been something I have wondered since high school when my girlfriend at the time was annoyed when I dipped my fries in my Oreo milkshake. I don't know why some find it weird because to me it is food perfection; the greatest combo of salty, creamy and sweet. I think it is (don't crucify me) better than fries with ketchup because usually the ketchup is Heinz and to me that is mainly sugar with a hint of tomato. Plain soft serve Vanilla ice cream with a hint of cinnamon is my top choice for an ice cream to dip my fries in.
